At Done Right Disposals, we aim to provide our customers with the most competitive price possible, but we are aware there are other ‘businesses’ (cowboys) that are offering waste removal at impossibly low prices. If a rubbish removal quote looks too good to be true, then it probably is!
Costs associated with the disposal of waste in a legal, safe way are very high (eg up to £200 per tonne for general waste plus extra for sofas, mattresses & white goods)
So if a quote seems very low, there’s a good chance your rubbish isn’t being disposed of legally.
If rubbish that you own is proven to be flytipped or tipped in a council run, domestic waste tip by a waste company, you could be fined up to £50,000 or even be handed a prison sentence.
To avoid this, ensure you practice due diligence when appointing any waste company – if in doubt, always ask to see their waste carriers license.
